About us

Built by government contractors, for government contractors.

2008 Government
contractor since
  • US-owned and operated
  • Built in Loudoun County, Virginia
  • Data stored in Ashburn, Virginia

Innovative Data Solutions LLC has been a government contractor since 2008. For most of that time, our timekeeping options were enterprise systems priced for companies ten times our size, or generic time trackers that had never heard of a charge code.

So we built the system we always wanted, and we run our own company on it. Every timecard we certify, every period we close, and every leave balance we track is in Timecoda.

Now we're offering it to other small and mid-sized government contractors. We're a US-owned company in Loudoun County, Virginia, and everyone who builds and operates Timecoda is a US citizen.

Questions

Common questions

Is Timecoda DCAA compliant?
DCAA doesn't certify software. It audits how your company keeps time. Timecoda is built around what auditors look for: time entered daily, employee certification, supervisor approval, a reason for changes, and a complete history you can print.
Can we bring our existing data?
Yes. Import past timecards from CSV, adding people and charge codes as you go, and we'll help you set opening leave balances. Each file is checked, and you see any problems before anything is saved.
Where is our data, and who runs Timecoda?
Timecoda is built and run by Innovative Data Solutions LLC, a US-owned company in Loudoun County, Virginia, and everyone who builds and operates it is a US citizen. Your data is stored in a data center in Ashburn, Virginia, with nightly backups kept separately in eastern North America.
How does sign-in work?
Sign in with email and a password, or with your Google account. With Google we receive only your name and email address, to sign you in. We never access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other Google data. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
